In this section of the Museum we find a group of artists search of the primitive, the traditions and the essence of Latin American culture, as well as of pure colours and forms.
We can see the artistic and ideological exploration undertaken by these artists in different artistic movements like Surrealism, magical realism and the New Figuration. Thus, we find artists like Wifredo Lam, Javier Arévalo, Elmar Rojas, Luis Sifuentes-Mamanka or Ernesto Deira in this hall.
