Threads

Ficha técnica
This activity invites visitors to reflect on a specific theme related to the exhibition and to share their rituals and thoughts through direct action. An interactive wall poses a closing question, and the way it is answered is an essential part of the process: each participant uses strands of wool to trace their own path.
As the threads intertwine with the paths of others, they form a visible fabric that reveals the network of collective connections. This network makes the proximity between people tangible, showing how the individual transforms into the collective, and how our experiences, reflections and emotions build bonds that sustain the community. This is an invitation to take part, to leave a mark, to build collective networks.
The installation is inspired by the fictional city “Ersilia” from Italo Calvino’s “Invisible Cities”, and by the dynamics of collective thinking developed in the community curatorial laboratory.
