This space invites you to stop and pay attention to your body, recognising it as an active part of the route. The seats arranged in the centre encourage us to pause, to enjoy a moment of rest and peace so that the experiences awakened during the visit can settle into our physical and emotional memory.
The installation arises from the participatory and reflective processes of the public, in which the concept of “museum as home” was revealed as a central need: these institutions must be safe and accessible spaces, both for rest (mental, emotional and, of course, physical) and for personal growth, fostering learning, reflection, creativity and empathy.
The museum therefore invites you to feel “at home”, providing a space for introspection, rest for the soul and connection with ourselves. By allowing ourselves to feel, contemplate and breathe, we open up a space where creativity and critical thought can unfold calmly, and where the experiences shared throughout the exhibition find a place to settle before the journey continues. This is an invitation to pause, listen and allow yourself to be moved, exploring the museum with a deeper and more sensitive awareness.
