Mural of collective memory

Ficha técnica
This digital resource brings together the results of the first phase of the (un)realities project, which took shape in the exhibition “Memories of the land. Leónidas Gambartes”.
A touchscreen device has been installed for the current exhibition, through which visitors can access the mural of collective memory. This is a database made up of images and testimonies generated by artificial intelligence based on the personal memories of visitors to the previous exhibition.
Visitors use this installation to navigate through these individual memories and explore the shared emotional map created from them, organised according to emotions.
The idea behind this resource is to identify and document the collective identity of the community linked to the museum. Through shared memories, we can detect the significant values and connections that define us. In a context in which comfort and materiality prevail, interestingly most memories were related to connections with nature, self-listening, taking things slowly, family relationships and close friendships, love and respect.
