From the invisible to the visible

This audiovisual piece documents the participatory processes developed within the framework of the 2025 education programme, corresponding to the first phase of the (un)realities project. By recording encounters, dynamics and shared experiences, the video captures not only what happened, but also the forms of relationship, listening and collective construction that have given meaning to the project.

Far from focusing exclusively on the results, (un)realities highlights the process as a fundamental space for learning and creation. Shared knowledge, a sense of belonging and the bonds that shape community are organised within these participatory, situated and sensitive activities.

The exhibition “Inhabiting roots” stems from these processes. As well as having been conceived from a participatory perspective, it has been curated to draw on the reflections, materials and experiences generated alongside the public. Therefore, the installations are not understood as the finishing line, but as moments within a continuum of collective research.

This video, therefore, invites us to place ourselves at the very start: to understand how the questions, languages and forms that go across the exhibition have been put together. This approach allows us to broaden the exhibition experience, paying attention to what is not always visible, but is essential: the process as a place for encounters, transformation and the construction of shared meaning.
